My story

Musing Mouse came into being as a creative outlet for my various happy fiddlings and many musings that I always have ideas about, but had previously never made much time for. Cue a global pandemic, a global mindset of re-evaluating our real priorities in life and desperate need to lead a less stress-focused life. All that, paired with an incredibly supportive husband tirelessly cheering me on and encouraging me to rediscover my love of creativity.

When 2022 arrived I found myself finally ready for some real life changes. As an interior architect, I spend so much time being creative, but always for my clients’ needs rather than my own, as well as doing 95% of that creativity while sitting in front of a screen. During the pandemic, I came to realize how important it is for me to have simple, happy, stress-free and HANDS-ON creativity in my life, every single day. Creativity that is just for me, and made at my own pace. This studio shop is the culmination of that rather simple need.

Launching Musing Mouse Studio in May of 2022 was a huge turning point for me, and the start of a wonderful new beginning. The excitement and support I have received for my work thus far has been nothing short of incredible. To everyone who has been a part of that - THANK YOU! As I rush towards 2024 with a new home, a new website and in many ways a whole new beginning, I’m ready for even more art, more ideas, and more *musings* than ever. This website is the next phase in my creative adventure, and I’m so excited to bring you all along with me.
