What is your return/exchange policy?

As each product made at Musing Mouse Studio is unique and hand-crafted, all sales are final. Having said that, I always hope to provide you with a joy-filled experience and strive to offer exceptional customer service. What metals do you use?

All ear-wires and necklace chains are 14k gold-filled, nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

The frames around the resin, as well as the added dangles, are raw brass which will naturally develop a soft patina with age as the metal begins to oxidize. However, if you prefer the brass with its bright and shiny appearance, it is easily polishable. Oxidization and patina are a natural occurrence in raw metals that does not harm you or your jewelry in any way. It is simply an aesthetic preference.

Will the flowers and leaves fade over time?

The resin I use is UV-resistant, intentionally designed to help protect from fading from the sun. However it is resistant, not fool-proof and still possible for prolonged exposure, particularly in direct sunlight, to cause minor fading over time. My recommendation is always to wear your jewelry to your hearts content without worrying too much about this factor, but when not wearing to store in a cool, dry and dark place away from natural sunlight if possible.

Hot tip: NEVER leave your botanical jewelry in a parked car sitting in the sun on a summer day. The normal heat of a hot summer day is nothing to worry about, but the inside of your car can get to over 250 degrees when left to bake in the sun, which will cause irreparable damage to your botanical jewelry.
